Job Summary:

Join our team as a Health & Safety Advisor in a leading Irish construction consultancy firm. This role offers a diverse range of projects in Dublin, allowing a mix of on-site and remote work. As an entry-level position, you'll collaborate with a renowned construction consultancy firm and contribute to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager.
  • Ensure that site personnel comply with safety and company requirements.
  • Implement and maintain the company's Safety Management System.
  • Conduct site inspections/audits and report findings.
  • Identify training needs and communicate them to the project EHS Manager.
  • Deliver Health and Safety Inductions and conduct weekly Toolbox Talks.
  • Chair Safety Meetings and contribute to accident/incident investigations.
  • Submit weekly reports on safety-related activities.
  • Conduct site walks and report findings to project supervisors.
  • Advise and assist site teams in drafting Safe Plans of Action.

Requirements:

  • Essential qualification in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience in the Construction Sector is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Understanding of Statutory Consents and Building Control Regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changes.
